Wordsearch launches Bosa’s ‘Rethink Downtown’ exhibition in San Diego
‘Rethink Downtown: Behind Downtown’s Skyline’ exhibition has recently opened in the city of San Diego to encourage San Diegans to ponder the architecture and design opportunities available for downtown, and to identify and celebrate the change it has undergone to date.
The huge multimedia exhibition includes a 63-sq ft, true-to-life model of downtown, maps, videos and historic photographs. During the six week duration, there are numerous events planned including lectures, panel discussions and film screenings, whilst guests are encouraged to write their ideas for downtown’s improvement and pin on to a ‘share your ideas’ wall. Two large-scale art installations were commissioned for the exhibition, one of which is an unmissable three-storey outdoor mural on the facade of the gallery entrance.
Wordsearch was involved in the strategy, design and production of the expensive endeavour, from the creation of the Rethink brand to producing films, interactive content and advertising campaigns, and of course the design and installation of the exhibition itself.
