Harwell Campus asked us to put their brand under the microscope to help them attract international science organisations who would make their campus home.
The UK’s home of innovation
Harwell is a successful science, innovation, technology and business campus near Oxford, UK. It enjoys an excellent but localised reputation. Our challenge was to change perceptions of the campus to encourage international organisations to lease its commercial space, whilst redefining its vision and ambition as a world-leading science facility.
Strategy and brand identity
We began with a facilitated strategic workshop and project immersion sessions with the Harwell team to draw out their objectives. As a result, we were able to define a stronger and more emotive brand spirit that brings to life a sense of the collective endeavour which forms the fabric of Harwell.
A bold refresh of the existing brand was also required. This was realised through a set of commercial brochures which promote the brand-new office and R&D offering, a new website which serves the needs of varied user groups on and off campus, and an exhibition space on campus which introduces Harwell to visitors.
