Whether it’s a contemporary office tower, a luxury residential development or a complex regeneration scheme, our process is rigorous at every level, never losing sight of our core values: insight, creativity and delivery.


We believe in the intelligent, reasonable and logical explanation of the built environment. We know developers, architects, brokers and agents, we know the global markets and we appreciate local buyer behaviour. We have a defined approach to articulating strategy and creating brands that captures our unique understanding of real estate and architecture. We advise on tools and techniques, specifically for real estate marketing, and we develop effective marketing communications programmes. We use our global network to help developers deliver campaigns in one market and attract customers in another.


Led by our creative team in London, we offer stunning solutions to complex problems for a range of clients. Our studio is collectively responsible for having delivered some of the world’s most high-profile real estate brands, and our creative hub model means that all our clients have access to the designers responsible for all our best work. Our team is equally at home on print and digital, above-the-line and below-the-line, identity creation and physical spaces.


Creative genius is nothing without serious delivery skills. We have dedicated Project Managers in each of our offices who ensure that we exceed our clients’ expectations, and deliver on time and on budget. They do this through a combination of processes, management tools and an unwavering commitment to get the job done, come what may. Our aim is always to work on the biggest projects, wherever they are, and key to this is our ability to deliver. This has enabled us to expand our reach to the world’s major cities, delivering consistent excellence wherever our projects may be.


Philip Redding

Chief Executive Officer

Philip joined Wordsearch as Chief Executive Officer in 2002. Alongside the management team he has helped to transform Wordsearch into a highly regarded agency that works on many of the most prestigious projects around the world. Under Philip’s direction Wordsearch has developed into a business that operates in all of the fastest growing regions in the world, is respected for its work and admired for its innovation.

Prior to his involvement with Wordsearch he co-founded digital agency Wheel (now part of LBi) which he helped grow to the largest new media agency in the UK.

William Murray

Group Director of Strategy

William has been at Wordsearch for 19 years, working on some of the world’s most prestigious buildings and developments. He was responsible for all marketing and communications output for The Shard in London, the development of the communications strategy and brand for One World Trade Center in New York, and has been the main director in charge of the development of the branding, placemaking strategy and communications materials for Battersea Power Station since 2009.

William’s expertise lies in understanding and developing the vision, the brand and the critical elements of a project’s success factors, and how they can be employed in both placemaking and communications strategies.

William has also been instrumental in setting up the Wordsearch offices in Beijing, UAE, Sydney, New York and San Francisco – and has aided the success of projects in those areas, including Barangaroo in Sydney, One57, Hudson Yards and Central Park Tower in New York and 181 Fremont in San Francisco.

Matt Flynn

Group Managing Partner

As Group Managing Partner, Matt is focused on ensuring that all corners of the Wordsearch world work to the same high standards, and uphold our ethos of Insight, Creativity, Delivery. This means lots of travel, but also a transnational perspective, and the ability to understand how best practice from one part of the business can be harnessed and implemented in another.

Matt joined Wordsearch in 2003, after working in various creative agencies, and honing his skills through the digital revolution of the 1990s. He was instrumental in shaping Wordsearch into the world-class agency it is today, delivering strategy, identity, print, digital, film and CGI and more.

Matt also works on an extensive client portfolio, and possesses an enviable track record of developing high profile brands in the world’s most exciting real estate markets. Over the years Matt has advised clients from Los Angeles to Vladivostok and many, many points in between.

Peter Murray

Life President

Peter is also Chairman of the New London Architecture centre, Chairman of The London Society, a member of the Mayor’s Design Advisory Group, Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects and Visiting Professor at IE University in Madrid.

Peter is also a keen trans-continental cyclist.

Mike Dorrian

Group Executive Creative Director

As Group Executive Creative Director, Mike ensures a powerful creative output is delivered across all parts of the Group. Great ideas, brilliantly executed, are at the heart of his approach; ideas that differentiate organisations, create value and hit home with customers. Combining expertise in traditional channels and working with people in pioneering new technologies, Mike ensures delivery is seamless, measurable and responsive to customers.

With more than 20 year’s experience in the creative industry, Mike has been involved in agenda-setting work for some of the world’s best loved brands across sectors including airlines,  retail, fashion and finance. He’s created groundbreaking and compelling brands including Virgin Group, Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Mobile, Cathay Pacific, Barclays, Qatari Diar, Fossil Group, Swire and P&G customers worldwide.

Eddie Nelms

Director, New York

Eddie is the director of Wordsearch New York, having joined Wordsearch in 2011. After launching the New York office, Eddie was key to our success in high-profile projects including One World Trade Center, One Riverside Park and The Marquand, where his passion for placemaking and the built environment have helped to redefine how real estate is being marketing and communicated in the United States.

Prior to Wordsearch, Eddie worked in planning and project management in both New York and London, and his skills lie in creating genuine destinations, whilst safeguarding the history and integrity of a location.

Eddie is exceptionally qualified in the real estate sector, holding degrees in Architecture from the University of Virginia, and in Urban Planning and Historic Preservation from Columbia University. He has an unsurpassed understanding of the New York real estate market, and expertise in identifying what each project marketing and branding needs.

Rachel Myburgh

Director, New York

Rachel has over 16 years’ experience in corporate branding, strategy and brand identity. She has worked at some of the world’s best branding agencies, including Landor Associates and Fitch.

At Wordsearch, Rachel works across arrange of projects including luxury residential, retail and commercial property. In 2015 she moved to New York, where she leads the strategy for our biggest clients, managing our output on naming, positioning and brand strategy.

During her time in New York, Rachel has delivered branding and marketing for some of New York’s most high-profile, and prestigious residential properties, and is equally at home on luxury residential towers, as she is on smaller boutique properties.

Charles Peace

Director, China

Charles has over 17 years experience working in real estate and architecture, the past 12 of which have been in China. He has considerable international experience having worked on behalf of property developers on a variety of large-scale developments: from high-end residential projects to super-tall commercial and mixed-use schemes around the world.

Charles has a strong understanding of the entire development process and has vast experience in the Asian real estate markets, including the trends that move them. He has an in-depth understanding of what sells, and how value is built for both developers and owners through effective branding, marketing and communications.

Working with a strong regional team and the support of the London head office, Charles ensures that clients throughout Asia receive the very best strategic and creative solutions for their projects.

Candy Liu

Director, China

With an MA in Marketing and Management and an MBA from Roehampton University in London, Candy joined Savills’ Beijing office in 2005 as Project Manager. During her time there, Candy provided strategic marketing consultancy for a wide range of large-scale developments.

Joining Wordsearch China as a business partner in 2009, Candy has since worked with numerous international and domestic developers, owners and investors, including, LG, Wanda Group, R&F, Goldman Sachs and Hines. Her knowledge and expertise has also been employed on major international projects, including Twin Towers, Wanda Plaza, Central Point, LSH Plaza, Pangu Plaza, The Exchange, and Dalian IFC.

Candy is currently responsible for business development and project management throughout Greater China.

Jack Stiller

Director, SE Asia

Since joining Wordsearch in 2004, Jack has managed and led communications programs for a wide range of international built environment projects. He specialises in creating strategic brand profiles and sales tools to inspire the public and industry.

As the Director of South East Asia, he utilises his considerable global property marketing experience to develop and direct Wordsearch business activities in the region.

Scott Hammond

Director, Australia

As Director of Wordsearch Australia, Scott brings extensive experience in the branding, design and marketing of large, mixed-use developments, property companies and the retail and leisure industry, inspiring those around him to ensure the delivery of uncompromising and outstanding results.

Over the past nine years, Scott has led his team in the marketing of both international and regional developments and entities, including Canary Wharf Group, Land Securities and Unilever in London, Aldar HQ, Central Market and Masdar City in Abu Dhabi. Scott also successfully marketed the largest sale and leaseback deal in UK history for HSBC of £1.1 billion.

Scott has overseen key Wordsearch projects in Australia including Sydney’s Barangaroo, one of the world’s foremost waterfront renewal projects.

Barrie Seppings

Director of Creative Strategy, Australia

Barrie joined Wordsearch in 2014 as Director of Creative Strategy in Australia, helping our clients with the strategic foundations on which to develop communications for the built environment.

Before joining Wordsearch, Barrie was Regional Creative Director at Ogilvy Singapore for IBM Growth Markets, and it is his professional experience in Australia and South East Asia that informs his worldview, bringing value to our clients with both local and global aspirations.
